Today I am going to share a wonderful book to make 19 different little bags. It has everything from card (credit or business) holders to coin purses and more. The ideas are creative and unique. The book is Sew Small by Jennifer Heynen.

Unfortunately I have not gotten my sewing machine out to try any of these yet. Between a bit of craziness at Hazel's school and fighting a cold, I haven't had time or energy. However there are several that I love!!

Look at this adorable card holder. It uses up small scraps to make the pieced part. I can imagine using it in my purse or even making one as the envelope for a gift card. Who wouldn't want to get a gift like that.

This one is called the beach purse. I know Hazel would love one with her love of flamingos. I see myself making her one soon. I also could see using it on a vacation to some place tropical--Florida, the Bahamas, etc. How about you?

Look at this adorable birdcage bag. It's finished size is 4 inches wide by 4.5 inches high by  1.5 inches deep. That seems to make it perfect for a doll. I could see adding straps like a backpack for them. I know I want to give this one a try for Hazel's dolls. The patterns at the end of book are easy to print and use. They are real size patterns and are on a pages so it is easy to just print and use.

This ice cream cone earbud bag is very cute. I could even see it used for a young child's toy. Perfect for a play ice cream shop. I could also see a tween loving it for her earbuds.
Whale Coin Purse

Although I did not make anything yet, I have read through the instructions for several and find them easy to read and follow. As I mentioned the patterns are easy to use and print. I can honestly recommend this book. It has fun projects to make small bags. The patterns include  tablet cover,  wallet, flip flop bag, jewelry roll, zippered bag, drawstring bags, coin purses and more. I hope you will check it out!
